The Hopa Port is operated by Park Denizcilik ve Hopa Liman İşletmeleri A.Ş., which is a joint venture company of Ciner Group and Imisk A.S.
Park Denizcilik has leased the port from the Turkish government for a period of 30 years. After being privatized in 1997, an important move has been made to modernize the port in terms of equipment and infrastructure. The Hopa Port is an ideal point for transit to and from the CIS as well as destinations in Iran.

Located at the eastern Black Sea coast of Turkey, Hopa is 15 km to the Georgian border.
